I don't know what I was thinking when I got the deck, maybe it was because I wanted to maintain my waterfront description and still have the garden without sticking a random door into my already crowded living room desc. >_>ĮTA: One caveat for home owners: If you only have one bedroom (your own) and no door other than the front entrance (because I'm cheap), don't let just anyone have access to your house. I still remember many years ago now, I 'came home' to find a protege and someone who shall remain unnamed doing it in my bedroom.Īerek and I currently own a manor by Adryn's Keep that's 16-18 rooms. This includes hallways though, and the manor is only maybe a third of the way done. and this isn't including too many extras (mostly a garden and roof taken off in the courtyard presently. More ambiance type things to come in the future!). It's a huge dream (and expense) to get it "done" (how do we even define done?!), but it's been really fun to build up. We're still in the middle of designing several spaces, but probably my favourite at this moment is the kitchens, especially since Mel is the family cook: Hopefully once we get past certain security issues, I'll be using it more reguarly. Tucked into the back of the manor, the circular kitchens are dominated by a large, octagonal, black granite furnace at its center. Fed by an opening on its north face, baking ovens occupy the other cardinal facets, and a chimney of the same black stone supports the roof above while carrying away the heat and smoke. Shuttered windows in the east and west allow for natural light as well as the airing of odors from failed creations. Pantries, cabinets, and countertops of finished oak wrap around most of the walls, and a cast-iron stovetop sits in the northeast by a stack of fuel. In the southeast, a table set offers a place for small meals or comfort for the kitchen staff, topped by a potted basil plant. Dried herbs and seasonings are strung about the room, and hanging ominously by the door is a collection of knives and cleavers, equally at home furthering culinary arts or fending off reprehensible husbands. A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground. One day we'll turn the little stove into a huge monstrosity of cast iron. I'll leave out the contents, since this is also a stable for the critters:Ī fine mist fills the air surrounding the various flowers and trees of this large greenhouse. Arching overhead, and shading the ground from much of the sunlight from outside is a large palm tree. Kinda doing this backwards. Its trunk is covered with a thick dark-green moss and from a number of these tufts of feathery growth dangle large red and green pitcher plants. I’m still trying to figure out how to make this more workable on iOS, since that’s where it makes the most sense. It can also export PDFs, Rich Text and HTML with a variety of themes and the ability to customize with CSS. If you’re editing on an iOS Dropbox or iCloud-capable application, you can even preview iOS work on your Mac as the document syncs back to the cloud. If you’re editing Markdown, there’s a great Mac app called Marked that previews your work, updating every time you save. If you Tweet me and tell me I forgot something, I’ll know you didn’t read this. Be sure to include contact info! You forgot about… Corrections welcome, just use the same form and edit only affected fields and/or add a note at the bottom. If you’re the developer of an iOS text editing app (or a dedicated user), just use the submission form to request a listing. This tool is only useful if it’s accurate and up-to-date. App details below the chart are pulled live from the App Store API. Clicking a feature header at the top will filter to show only apps that have that feature. Holding down command while hovering over the body of the chart will highlight the current row, and clicking a row will highlight it permanently. Hover over an app’s title in the chart to see additional features which might not be included in the default criteria, and click the app name to scroll to its full data block. Every editor is geared toward a slightly different purpose, with their own strengths and focus. It’s meant to help you find the most useful way to write, code or take notes for your personal needs.
